Otto Online Only

Posted May 26th, 2009, 11:43 by Richard

otto wearPost order company Otto is dropping its paper shop version that was as thick as a phonebook (if you still know what that is).

They will continue as a real online shop. Otto is present in 21 countries and by 2012 they will be 100% online only. Well, you can also call them to put your orders through. This is a very exciting development indeed.

TUI Social Traveling

Travel experience

Travel experience

More and more companies are discovering the future of advertising.

Travel giant TUI will start a pilot project in the Netherlands engaging their customers in social networking style. No longer will flight price banners dominate their strategy. They intend to learn and get closer to their target customers by claiming the world of Traveling and Sharing travel experiences.

Smart idea. Only if they keep it open and user focused. The trap is to only talk about their own product and destinations. In the end there is more traveling than TUI only. Soon to be seen at Cheqqer.

New young creatives

New young creatives

A competition last weekend of 72 hours of hard work to come up with a concept. A bunch of new creatives (young?) were invited.

This is a nice example of a website to promote the magazine “creatie”. Always inspiration for creative people.

Many more ideas can be found on this website.

We started this campaign for Olvarit baby food in co-operation with Tim and Avi of Saatchi. It is nice to see when something works out as planned.

Parents love to show the progress and funny faces of their newborns. If you like to see how creative Dutch parents can be, check this out.

Nice tip from co-canguru Maurits v. Rijckevorsel.

New York in 3D style. It reminds me a bit of these old school bird eye documentaries we used to watch on TV.

Nederland wil keurmerk voor Internet Video

Posted May 6th, 2009, 15:03 by Richard

Designer mouth pieces are super hot

Designer mouth pieces are super hot

The latest fashion items. What is hot and what is not. Flue is not, mouth piece is hot. Especially if you get a designer one. When will Burberry, DKNY, Calvin Klein come with their versions?

Anyway, it will be way quieter in the streets.

marla looking for you

marla looking for you

First time I noticed: a spammer on twitter. Somebody who follows random people and posts only spamlinks. Is this the start of the cluttering of the next hype? Something gets big and before you know there’s spam everywhere. Are there any new internet solutions without spammers?

Porn is always leading in the development en use of internet applications; so it is evident that this link is porn-driven. We can learn a lot from those guys.
