no more prima donna

no more prima donna

We need teams. We do not need one star and the others are just filling. That goes for soccer, for companies and for friends.

To win you need to play as a team, where all qualities are bound, and the weaknesses are made up for. And if you are lucky you have a coach who is submissive to the collective mission. Then you do not want a Ma(ra)donna who is another guy to steal the show and outshines the joint effort.

Share your ideas on a website

bounce2

Are you looking for a tool improving your work on websites? You’ve just found it. A Bounce is a new online tool allowing you to comment any website (simply by grabbing a screenshot from attached link) and share ideas with friends.

The tool is realy intuitive and has nothing you can complain on. You can simply make notes by clicking anywhere on your screenshot and write a feedback in an overlay of site. You can tweet and share feedback with your friends.

It’s easy tool to build community around your brand but it’s not good enough to make money and reinforce your business model. But anyway it’s a really good start and maybe further versions will be covering business model as well - e.g. by integrating it with management’s tools as Basecamp.

We want more

Today I played with Holland’s 6th iPad, according to Boris VVZ. It was interesting, but the wireless connection was not working.

Because this way of working with internet, books, videos and last but not least games, read this story. It is a great analysis, that brings you up to speed.

G-star new york city guide

IIZT produced an interactive City Guide for demin brand G-Star, with which Fashionistas in New York are able to take this years NYFW to a whole other level. The iPhone app, completely free of charge, helped RAW Reporters (winners of the recent G-Star social media competition) and every youthful audience of art, design and fashion lovers, to discover and share the trendiest hotspots of New York.

The hotspots are arranged into the following categories: architecture, art, bars & cafes, clubs, entertainment, hotels, landmarks, restaurants and the G-Star stores. Besides visiting the spots, you can also make your own contribution by adding your favorite hangouts. This way the app is always up to date so you don’t have to miss out of all the fun!

Indoctrination with toys?

Indoctrination with toys?

Young kids are being confronted with adult things at an increasing early age. Why? Do they want to be adult earlier, or do adults need them to be grown up sooner?

While the western world will go crazy about this new toy, at the other side of the world girls this age are being married. We live on different planets.
